Index Page Guide

This guide explains the shared sections and controls on the optional playlist index page.

Index page sections

  • Page shortcuts: Shortcut links jump directly to the filter card and shared settings shell.
  • Share: The share panel copies the current view URL when state sharing is enabled.
  • Playlist filters: The filter card lets you search playlists, refine by dates, languages, and tags, and save or restore a curated view.
  • Playlist list: The playlist list shows each playlist card with thumbnail, summary metadata, actions, and tag details.
  • Pagination: Pagination utilities control playlists per page and page navigation through the current filtered result set.
  • Settings: Settings control shared visual preferences such as theme, contrast, text size, density, thumbnail size, spacing, and storage/privacy behavior across the site.
  • Footer links: The footer links provide access to the privacy page, about page, help pages, and a quick jump back to the top of the document.

How to use the controls

The index page groups playlist search, publication date filters, language filters, tag filters, saved views, and pagination around the playlist grid.

Locking and hiding playlists only affects the current browser view unless you explicitly share or store that state, and browser back/forward navigation can restore prior index filter URLs.

Example scenarios

  1. Use the search box to narrow playlists by title, description, or playlist tags.
  2. Use month, year, or publication date filters to focus on playlists published during a specific period.
  3. Open a playlist card to read its summary, inspect tags, or open the playlist metadata viewer.
  4. Use the page-size and pagination controls to browse longer index results.
  5. Use Save view when you want to keep a useful filter combination for later.
